Using the Bioquell Selective service
This decontamination service can be used for specialist hospital applications like neonatal incubators in NICU, toys in Paediatrics and dialysis units in Renal, through to general decontamination on High Dependency/Step Down Units, Oncology, Haematology, Wound Care, Elderly Care, Medical Assessment Units and Orthopaedics.
Where building works are to commence (to protect workers) or where works have finished (to ensure you are starting with a zero pathogen environment, particularly for the eradication of mould/Aspergillus spores), Bioquell Selective is the ideal service. Additionally, it can be used in rooms/units post sprinkler set-off or after flooding where the risk of mould contamination has increased.

It’s really useful to have an adaptive service such as Selective bioquelling to call upon specialist decontamination when required. We’ve used the technology within N-ICU for neonatal incubators.
Hospital in Southern England
We regularly employ the Selective option in order to reduce risk of infection within High Dependency areas and Step-Down units. Tailoring a response to our needs has been very useful.
Hospital in the East of England
Following refurbishment works we undertake Bioquell HPV cycles to protect against organisms such as Aspergillus – possibly introduced during disturbing building fabrics.
